About Me

In 2013, I’ve challenged my family to experience 100 adventures in Burlington. On this blog, we’ll share all the fun that we discover in our city. Like us on Facebook and Follow us on Twitter to stay in touch with the very latest.

Mr Burlington and Family Hiking the Bruce Trail

Last year’s family challenge was to hike the Iroquois section of the Bruce Trail. We started in Grimsby, treked through Hamilton and Burlington and criss-crossed the escarpment all the way up to the 401 in Milton. With an infant and a 5-year old, it took us 27 different hikes to cover 120km — but we did it!

Our hope is that the adventures captured in this blog encourage families to spend less time in front of the TV and computer and to spend more time enjoying life in Burlington. We’re lucky to live here!

  1. I knew I had seen your faces before when you dropped into my Stained Glass Studio. I had made the awards for Bulrington’s Best where you and your son were the speakers of the evening.

So nice of you to drop in. I hope your son has found another way to use his glass glob. He is welcome to pick up another anytime.

I wish to invite you and your family to Art in Acton Burlington Studio Tour Nov 2 & 3. We offer demonstrations and interaction with 29 of Burlington’s Best Artists. For more information go to

    Looking forward to meeting again.
